what is this?
the dream generator is an n-gram text generator trained on a corpus of my dreams collected since february 2026. currently using trigrams. the corpus is still quite small so the text is mostly gibberish, but i'm hoping with time it will become more coherent. however, my dreams themselves are also absurd and read a bit like gibberish, and that's kind of the point – putting gibberish text, the nonsensical machinations of my own subconscious, into a program that further distorts it and seeing what comes out.
all names of people from my personal life have been changed. text generator made using the RiTa javascript library and the help of this tutorial. this is NOT ai, just a fun computational linguistics project.
